Hastelloy C-2000 UNS N06200 High Temperature Alloys flue gas desulfurization system components
This alloy was developed to broaden the application range of one alloy. With the addition of Copper to the Nickel-Chromium-Molybde-num system, Hastelloy C-2000 is resistant to an extensive range of corrosive chemicals, including sulphuric, hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acids. The combination of Molybdenum and Copper provide excellent corrosion resistance to reducing media, while the high Chromium content gives good oxidising resistance.

Hastelloy C-2000 is a versatile corrosion resistant alloy with excellent resistance to uniform corrosion in oxidizing or reducing environments. It resists all acids, especially hydrochloric, sulfuric and hydrofluoric acids, at wide temperature ranges, and also resists pitting corrosion, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking induced by chlorides and other halide solutions.
