Description

17-4PH alloy is a martensitic precipitation hardening stainless steel with good corrosion resistance, suitable for making shafts and steam turbine parts, etc. 17-4PH is a low-carbon, high-chromium precipitation-hardening stainless steel. By adding strengthening elements such as Cu and Nb, the second phase strengthening particles such as ε-Cu and NbC are precipitated during the aging process to improve hardness and strength, and have good corrosion resistance.
