Nimonic 80A N07080 nickel-chromium alloy used for gasturbine components
A nickel-chromium alloy made precipitation hardenable by additions of aluminum and titanium. The alloy has good corrosion and oxidation resistance and high tensile and creep-rupture properties at temperatures to 815° C. Used for gasturbine components (blades, rings, and discs), bolts, tube supports in nuclear steam generators, die-casting inserts and cores, and exhaust valves in internal-combustion engines.
