UMCo50 heat-resistant cobalt alloy used in coal chemical nozzles
UMCo50 is a heat-resistant cobalt alloy with excellent thermal shock resistance and wear resistance. It also shows strong resistance to sulfur and vanadium attack. Another feature is its higher melting point compared to other cobalt- or nickel-based heat-resistant alloys. For example, steel mills use UmCo50 to make alloy materials for slide rails that are often used at 1350°C. Therefore, UMCo50 has many successful cases in heat treatment and furnace conditions where other alloys cannot be used due to low melting points. As a heat-resistant alloy material, UMCo-50 (cobalt 50) is particularly suitable for applications that require both oxidation resistance and a certain high-temperature strength, as well as resistance to hot corrosion, thermal shock and wear. In sulfur-containing oxidizing atmosphere, it has very good thermal corrosion resistance to heavy oil or other fuel combustion product media, and is widely used in coal chemical nozzle nozzles.

High temperature resistance, thermal shock resistance, wear resistance
Compared with other cobalt-based alloys and nickel-based alloys, it has a higher melting point (1380~1395°C)
Resistant to corrosion in dilute liu acid and boiling nitric acid, corrosive in hydrochloric acid
Resistant to corrosion by molten copper, but not corrosive by molten aluminum.
When sulfur-containing oil is used as fuel, it has high corrosion resistance in a sulfur oxidizing environment.
